dc.description.otherIn recent decades, companies have realized the importance that the pursuit for competitive advantage has for generating value for the business. Supply chain management is a way organizations have of orchestrating their competitive advantage and maximizing value. This is done through the adoption of supply chain management practices. This empirical research identified which supply chain management (SCM) practices should be adopted by managers in order to achieve superior performance for their companies. Approximately 800 firms were analyzed worldwide, spread across 13 different industries, to understand the impact of 31 practices in 5 business operational performance indicators.pt_BR
