A partir disso, é feita
The main objective of this study is to understand and evaluate different management models in football through an analysis based on the Agency Theory problem and the concept of organizational structure. With the advent of the Law of Football Anonymous Societies in Brazil in 2021, the topic has gained relevance in the national scenario and has opened up opportunities for national clubs to be managed in a corporate manner, as is largely done in Europe. All sports management models are mentioned and briefly explained throughout the text, but the two main ones analyzed are the associative and the business models. The agents and principals of each model are identified, as well as their related conflicts of interest involving members, shareholders, and executives. Based on this, an analysis is conducted on how the conflicts of interest present in these management models could be better aligned.
