dc.description.otherThrough this paper, we suggest a return to the blockmodel as privileged approach for detection of groups (“positions”) associated with common social identities. Specifically, we explore the emergence of “positions” within the Fashion industry in Brazil, given the co-commentaries of common online users to brands at Facebook. Thus, our analyses are based on 2-mode matrices of FB users’ commen taries and likes to brands’ posts. This preliminary analysis provides a first glance on “structure-based digital identities” (based on the social relationships 2-mode network). Further, we posit that current tools of text analysis helps us to explore intra- and inter-positional discursive identities. Specifically, we inquiry how positions differ to each other vis-à-vis various discursive dimensions, leading to dis tinct“discourse-based digital identities” (based on the socio-semantic 2-mode network).pt_BR
