dc.description.otherIn contrast to the emphasis of the Resource-Based View (RBV), the Practice-Based View (PBV) examines the use of known management practices, which can be copied and are transferable between firms. This study explored the relation between adherence to operational management practices and their impacts on manufacturing firms’ performance, particularly continuous process firms. The results indicated a positive relation between adherence to operational management practices and manufacturing firms’ performance. A panel data analysis of the 29 plants, during 39 months, showed that among the operational practices, only maintenance (=45.34) and people (=38.62) impacted significantly (p<0.01) and positively on the performance.pt_BR
